1 medium Chinese or Nappa cabbage
1/2 bunch scallions
4 - 6 Tbsp. soy margarine or butter
1 package ramen noodles
4 Tbsp. sesame seeds
 1/2 cup slivered almonds
2 Tbsp. vinegar
6 Tbsp. oil
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce

     Slice cabbage and scallions and mix in large bowl.
     Set aside.

     Melt margarine in skillet.  Add flavoring packet 
     from ramen, sesame seeds, almonds, and broken 
     up UNCOOKED noodles.  Saute until well browned.
     Set aside.

     In small saucepan, heat vinegar, oil, sugar, and 
     soy sauce until boiling.  Simmer for 1 minute.  Set 
     aside to cool.

     At serving time, toss together greens, browned 
     mixture, and dressing.

     Makes 6-8 large servings.

     Note:  This salad is so delicious I guarantee
     everyone you serve it to will ask for the recipe!
