HAVE I KNOWN Strange
fits of passion have I known:
When
she I loved look’d every day
Upon
the moon I fix’d my eye,
And
now we reach’d the orchard-plot;
In one
of those sweet dreams I slept,
My horse
moved on; hoof after hoof
What
fond and wayward thoughts will slide
|
She dwelt among the untrodden
ways
A violet by a mossy stone
She lived unknown, and few
could know
|
WITH US; LATE AND SOON The
world is too much with us; late and soon,
